The monetary value of the collection is hard to calculate - apart from some silverware the bulk of it is paper-based and historically valuable. All items within the collections are irreplaceable and as such our insurers have suggested that money that could be spent on insurance, instead be invested into enhanced security and disaster protection for the Archives repository.
