Hi Michala
This kind of thing is tricky; the reports of Royal Commissions count as Parliamentary Papers which are a fiddle to search for (and cite).
The original reports may be available in large libraries and the parliamentary archives, but your best bet may be to try and get hold of the Irish University Press reprints of a number of the relevant volumes. These are still are available to purchase at enormous expense from Irish Academic Press, but may well be more readily available via a large library or inter-library loan. There is a useful list of the relevant reprints (including ISBN numbers, by far the best way of searching for them in library databases) at:
http://www.britishparliamentarypapers.com/acatalog/Childrens_Employment.html
Chadwyck has made parliamentary papers available online, but only to institutions, so you would need to find somewhere prepared to give you access: http://parlipapers.chadwyck.co.uk/marketing/index.jsp
Good luck!
Best wishes
Jack

Can anyone help?
I'm trying to find a published copy of the Royal Commissions on child
labour 1832/1833 . The investigation was done by A. Austin, and it was
evidence from this that informed the Factory Act of 1833. I've come
across small sections of the evidence in several books, but
frustratingly much of it focuses on Yorkshire and I am looking for
evidence in Lancashire/North West. I believe that there were several
select committees & Royal commissions on child labour carried out in the
early/mid 19th century. If anyone knows where I can find copies, please
let me know.
Many thanks in advance!
Micahla
