MAIREPAV 7, August 28-30 2012
Auckland, New Zealand
The University of Auckland<http://www.auckland.ac.nz/uoa/> and the Local Organising Committee in conjunction with iSMARTi<http://www.civil.uminho.pt/ismarti/inicio.htm> is very pleased to announce that the MAIREPAV7 International Conference will be held in August 2012 in Auckland, New Zealand (apologies for cross posting).
The MAIREPAV International conference series; an acronym for the Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Pavements and Technological Control, has a history of six successfully completed international conferences in the countries of Brazil, USA, Northern Ireland, China, Portugal and Italy over the last approximately 15 years.
The Southern Hemisphere countries and especially Auckland and New Zealand have quite different population densities, traffic volumes, geological materials, climatic, topographic, environmental conditions and economic variables to consider when maintaining and rehabilitating pavements. The proposed MAIREPAV 7 conference will bring to the international audience perspectives that have not been previously considered in MAIREPAV conferences.
