The Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds is pleased to welcome
Professor Peter Bonsall - retiring Professor of Transport Planning, Institute for Transport Studies
to lead a seminar entitled
"Thirty seven years of Transport Research"
The talk, illustrated with historic material, will address the motivation for research in transport, the evolution of research methods since the 1970s, and the research themes which have underlain his work. The talk will include a focus on two or three projects and will discuss the lessons learned. Peter will conclude with a look forward to upcoming research issues and will outline what he sees as the key unanswered questions.
