Dear Laura,
Unfortunately I cannot see your image (it would have been better to attach
it), however to render activations you need to (after specifying/selecting
your contrast)press button "Overlay" (in "Results" window), select "Render"
and then choose a Matlab file to use for rendering From "Previous" drop
down menu choose the rend subdirectory in spm installation directory, from
somehing like this:
/your_installation_dir/spm8/rend/... eg rend_single_subj.mat
Once you've done it, you can use "previous render" option from Overlay.
Hope it helps
