Dear list,
while developing some tools with the nice spm8 matlabbatch system, 3
questions popped to mind regarding dependencies:
1. when one concatenates multiple matlabbatch{..} cells (lets say cell 1
to 3 with cell 1 to 3 from another batch) referring to different jobs,
would existing dependencies be spared? For example, when I combine a
separate matlabbatch with 3 preprocessing jobs with a matlabbatch with 3
statistic jobs?
2. Is there a way to easily (re)create dependencies between in and
output images from different matlabbatch{..} nodes by hand, that is,
using matlab code? The only way I see now is in the batch GUI, making
automation quite cumbersome.
3. Is there a built in method in the batching system to 'ask' a
matlabbatch node what exactly its output images will be, adhering to its
dependencies? In theory this might be possible as matlabbatch is an
object rather than a cell structure.
Thanks for any pointers. The matlabbatch system seems quite elegant but
I have a hard time finding API documentation.
Cheers,
Bas
