Subject: Librarians and research evaluation support - your input requested
Apologies for cross-posting
Sent on behalf of Fiona Bowtell, Chair, JIBS User Group
To coincide with the next JIBS User Group event "Research evaluation - is it
our business? The role of Librarians in the brave new world of research
evaluation", we are running a short survey to get a better idea of what
support for research evaluation is currently provided in UK HEIs and whether
librarians are involved in delivering it.
The brief survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. While we
ask you to provide your name and institution details this is for information
only. No personal or institutional names will be included in the report.
Brief results of the report will be presented at the JIBS User Group Event
to be held in Birmingham on June 29th
(http://www.jibs.ac.uk/events/intro.htm ). The report will also be made
available via the JIBS web pages in due course.
Whether or not you are planning to attend the JIBS event, we would be very
grateful if you could spare 10 minutes to fill in the survey so that we can
gauge the situation UK-wide. Thank you very much for your help.
