Oh I've decided I suffer from the alphabet: COPD, EDSS, OSA, etc etc.
Obviously I contracted it from reading too many books. One of the results of
proliferation of acronyms for illnesses is that the conditions are minimized
into routine and divested of the unpredictability of real content. They thus
become amenable targets for 'one-shop-stop' treatments. So, for instance,
CPAP becomes 'the' treatment for OSA, regardless of the individual patient.
Best of luck, Chris, and never let go of urgency, which is what 'they' want
;)
