I would say there is an argument for this being covered by PPE in the same way as cold clothing is So hats and cream yes, not sure about the glasses if they have the hats.

In a hurry as usual, doing talk to staff at 1pm today about sun damage and heat exposure - just a quick question, must the employer provide hats, sun cream, sun glasses to staff who work outside, or not!
