Contemporary Women's Writing Association Conference and AGM

This one day conference will focus on a range of contemporary women's Gothic writing and papers are welcomed which engage with Gothic themes, trends, and/or individual authors. Topics might include: the high literary Gothic; Gothic traces; metamorphosis; 'ghostings' of history; cultural haunting; the postcolonial Gothic; the feminist Gothic; the queer Gothic; the popular Gothic; Gothic writing; Gothic/Goth cultures; Gothic contexts; Gothic settings.
Please send 250 word abstracts for 20 minute papers to Gina Wisker and Katy Shaw at: [log in to unmask] by 15th July 2011.
