Dear All
Many institutions have learning development or study skills units within their institutions. The way these units are structured and the modes of delivery can vary widely between institutions. At Leeds our learning development service has become part of The Library and this has led to a new approach to teaching academic skills across the university, encouraging Faculty Team Librarians to extend their skills teaching from a traditional Information Literacy focus, to a more holistic model.
Do you work for an institution that has adopted a similar approach? If so we would like to hear from you. We are keen to find out if other institutions across the sector are doing similar things so we can share good practice and develop collaborative projects/ research activity.
Please get in touch with Julia Braham ([log in to unmask]) the Senior Academic Skills Adviser at Skills@Library if you are interested.
Best wishes
Michelle
