Hi Marianne,
One of my favourite artists exploring repetition is the NZ artist Monique Jansen. While she mostly works on large scale drawings, often in pencil, there is a particular work she did that is awesome in her determination to persist in repetition. Jansen took a gridded maths book from her nephew from primary school. She cut out each square in the grid, individually, leaving the lines of the grid intact. Every page is treated the same. There are traces of the maths work, where writing crosses over the grid, but mostly the book is not there at all. So time intensive, intricate and repetitive. Check that one out on the Auckland City Art Gallery website.

Subject: Drawings and repetition
Hi all,
I'm looking for work in/with drawing that explores repetition or uses repetition as a method/strategy/etc. in its production.
I am stuck - any ideas suggestions for work to look at?
I'll be most grateful
Marianne
