Call for Papers
30th International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society
(SCCC-11)
Curicó, Chile, November 9-11, 2011
http://jcc2011.utalca.cl
The International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society
invites the submission of papers describing original, previously
unpublished work in all areas of computer science. To promote submission
of cutting-edge research, this year the inclusion of an accepted paper in the
proceedings is *optional* (more details below).
BACKGROUND AND LOCATION
The SCCC conference is a forum for the presentation of recent original
work and an opportunity for students and researchers to extend their
research network. The 30th version of this event will be held in
Curicó, Chile, in November 2011, and will be organized by the
Universidad de Talca in Curicó. The event is part of the "Jornadas
Chilenas de Computación 2011", a wider national-level event that
comprises a number of workshops.
SUBMISSION
Submissions of 2-page extended abstracts will be open until July 1,
2011. Submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two members of the
program committee. They must be written in English and formatted in
two-column letter format following the guidelines of IEEE-CS
Proceedings (details available at
http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting)
Paper submission is via Easychair:
https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=jcc2011
*Important*: You must select the "International Conference of the SCCC"
track.
Camera-ready versions of accepted papers may be up to 10 pages long.
AUTHOR REGISTRATION
At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the
conference by October 14, 2011 and present their paper.
Authors who submit papers are implicitly assumed to agree with this
requirement.
Failure to complete registration will imply the removal of the paper from the
program.
