Just for your information, one of the leading Irish property websites
myhome.ie has taken up our suggestion to include six key accessibility
features as items that landlords can select when entering details of a
property to rent. This will help renters to find properties that meet their
needs, and will help landlords to target the widest possible audience of
renters. I've attached a screenshot from the property rental listing page
They have also provided a link to a more detailed accessibility checklist
at
http://www.myhome.ie/static/files/NDAAccessibilityChecklist.doc.
Best regards
Shane

Subject: Wheelchair access on Rightmove
This is not strictly assistive technology, but I'm hoping that you might
want to support our Accessible Property Register campaign to persuade
market leading property website Rightmove to identify and provide search
options for property with wheelchair access. Currently, they don't do
either!
An opportunity to change this has arisen because Rightmove is running a
competition for improvements to its website. Accessible Property Register
is proposing that Rightmove identify accessible property and provide a
search option so that site users can search specifically for property with
wheelchair access.
Please help by voting for this proposal via the following link. And if
appropriate, please pass on to your clients, many of whom may have a
personal interest in wheelchair accessible property.

Thank you for your help.
