I have been reading some papers on uncertainty in chemical analyses in
preparation for meeting with a consulting client.
I have just noticed that the sample/population distinction so
fundamental to applied statistics is absent from these papers. It would
be good if I could get some references in this area where this
distinction is made.
[Other than anything I may have written :-) ]
Can anyone help me with references?
Cheers, Murray orgensen
