POLICY AND RESEARCH PROGRAMME MANAGER, YORK
Statistics & Quantitative Specialist
(full-time – 35 hours per week)
Salary: £40,950 - £45,864 per annum
We are seeking a programme manager with substantial experience of statistical and quantitative research to lead our flagship Monitoring Poverty and Social Exclusion project, develop innovative new programmes of work, and support JRF in our ambition to be the place to get the facts on poverty, place and empowerment.
With relevant and broad experience of using research and other evidence to inform policy and/or practice development, excellent statistical and quantitative research skills and a proven track record in project management, you will work collaboratively and creatively with a wide range of people to deliver high quality programmes of work and to inform and influence policy and practice.
You will have excellent communication skills, with an innovative approach to the presentation of data. You will be able to work pro-actively to deliver against the organisation’s strategic objectives.

The post is based in York and involves some travel within the UK, although it is possible that the postholder could be located elsewhere with regular travel to the York office.
