Dear all,
I am a student on the Masters in Archives and Records Management at Liverpool and am doing my dissertation on 'More Product, Less Process' (MPLP), a U.S initiative to improve archival processing rates and reduce cataloguing backlogs. I shall be interviewing (half an hour, max.) a representative of four types of service - specialist, national, university, local authority - about MPLP, thoughts on its applicability in a UK context and any strategies of their own. So far, I have potential interviewees each representing the specialist, national and university sectors and would like to find someone representing a local authority archive service - preferably, someone who has already heard of MPLP (and are therefore able to share their thoughts on it) but its application would NOT be a pre-requisite.
I am looking to conduct the interviews (semi-structured) at the end of June. I would be very grateful for any help on this and if anyone is interested in acting as a case study, please contact me off-list.
Many thanks,
Rachel Anchor
