I don't really see the problem. Peter's posts, for me, fall into the following categories; occasionally I learn something very useful; sometimes I find out something less useful but interesting; sometimes I find posts that are neither interesting nor useful for me. But I can usually tell from the subject line, and it's the work of a few seconds of mental triage to scan the headings and delete those I don't want.
Craig seems to suggest that it would take longer to go through an omnibus edition and I agree.
There is an excellent mailing list for conservators which is hosted in the US, which I try diligently to keep up with, but which appears in a regular omnibus format and consequently requires a lot of time and concentration to sort the relevant from the irrelevant (subjectively - all of it has relevance to someone), so while I admire that list it takes up more of my time than just dealing with individual postings.

Personally, I appreciate the postings, and find the online omnibus edition less suited to my way of managing time. As indicated by my picking up and posting this via phone.

Subject: List spam from PeterK
What can be done about the list spam from this PeterK character?
Why cannot he behave is a good public manner as Michele Losses does
with her news.
I sent a direct mail asking that he tone it down to one per day but
just got insults about archivists not being able to set their mail
client settings, this attitude towards the "customer" beggars belief.
