Dear colleagues,
I have received the following information about two new publications
from the Finnish National Library about their development of a National
Digital Library. I thought some of you might be interested both in the
general content, but more specifically in the enterprise architecture
model they have used (p12. Of the first report and described in detail
in the second).
The reports have been circulated as part of the work of the Digital
Cultural Content Forum (DCCF), which met last week in Berlin to talk
about international collaboration and shared priorities in the Digital
agenda for museums. You can find out more about the DCCF at
http://www.digitalculturalcontentforum.org. It includes organisations
from the US, Middle and Far East and Europe and last week's meeting
covered Gaming, Semantics and transnational projects such as the Google
Art Project.
All best,
Nick
