There are aspects to the Kindle that I dislike (proprietary
battery, no external memory...), but the 'screen technology'
is much improved and can be read in bright sunlight --
something that appeals to sunworshipers like myself, when
stranded on remote islands (that have electricity) with
little reading material. Unfortunately Kindle doesn't
currently accept image-only publications -- too bad, as it
is a perfect device for the 12hr-isbn-jpeg project
(continual, greyscale, serial imagery since 1994: the
world's first... ' blah blah). I did get my mundane blog
'published' @99c/month (http://bradbrace.net/wordpress)...
