Hi all
Lots of news: a free offer for Intranets Roadmap Workshop 2, updates to our home page, a live Discussion Room meeting and the release of this month's eLucidate - UKeiG's free journal.
1. The slide pack from Intranets Roadmap Workshop 1 held in London on 30 March will be provided in advance to everybody attending the Intranets Roadmap Workshop 2 in Birmingham on 11 May.
There are still some places available. More details and an order form on http://tiny.cc/zxn1a, or contact Dion Lindsay [log in to unmask] tel 07540 659255
For attendees this will add a wealth of guidance from 65 slides on how to turn user requirements into a high performing intranet, to the experience, learning and slide pack on collaboration and knowledge exchange available at the 11 May workshop.
This will be continued throughout the Roadmap Workshop series, so attendees will acquire a set of valuable slide packs as the series progresses!
2. Brunella Longo's report of the Culture Change/Change Management breakout discussion at our last meeting on 29 March now joins the other reports from that meeting on our Intranet Forum home page at http://www.ukeig.org.uk/members-area/intranets-forum
3. On 21 April at 16:00 the live JISCmail Discussion Room at http://tiny.cc/wsup8 will once again be open for a drop-in meeting for members. Come for a few minutes to share your good news, grumbles, problems and solutions or chat for anything from a couple of minutes to half an hour! For those who can't make the time or whose firewalls don't allow access, a summary will be emailed here with attendees permission within a few days
4. I have updated the Intranets Forum home page - with more information about what we offer and a more comprehensive list of subjects we have covered at our meetings.
5. The April edition of UKeiG's eLucidate journal is now available online in html and pdf formats at http://www.ukeig.org.uk/elucidate, with Dion's regular Intranets column and articles by Phil Bradley, Martin White, Joy Cadwaller, Tracy Kent and Jane Inman, and many book reviews. eLucidate is a valuable benefit for UKeiG members, which includes everybody on this list!
Very best wishes all
Dion
