You should not have to do this Lei. These glitches should be rare. If
you can consistently generate the
!! DAT_PUT: Error writing value(s) to an HDS primitive.
we should like to know about what you've done in detail. This would be
a bug. The CTRL/C issue is a known feature, albeit annoying. If you
are running an app interactively and you want to abort and there are
still parameters to be prompted for, enter !! at the next prompt
for a clean exit.
By removing the parameter file you lose all the current values of
parameters, so you will need to supply all the non-defaulted values you
require each time you run FINDCLUMPS. This is satisfactory in a
script, but usually not for command-line use.
