The inhomogeneity does not seem too bad. Try the New Segment toolbox
in SPM8 (via the batch system, in the SPM->Tools pulldown). By
default, it does not save the bias corrected images or bias fields,
but you can make it do this. For optimal results,m you may need to
play around with the regularisation (ie decrease/increase it and maybe
change the FWHM settings).
