Dear Paolo
I assume that you didn't see any error in the Matlab command window or
you would have reported it.
I see you are running the latest version of SPM8, but you don't say
what version of Matlab you are using.
I just tried the batch interface for PPI and the PPI_name.mat file was
saved without a problem.
The file is saved to the same directory as your SPM.mat file
Perhaps there is some problem with file permissions on your system?
If you know how to do debugging in Matlab, you can open spm_peb_ppi.m
in the Matlab editor and set a breakpoint at around line 591, which is
just before the PPI file is saved. Then run the PPI batch. If the
debugger never gets to that line it means it is somehow exiting before
this line, but I can't see where that might be. If the debugger does
get to the breakpoint then step through the next few lines to see what
happens. If there is no error but the file isn't saved try going to
the command line of matlab and saving a variable to a mat file. If
saving a variable doesn't work then the problem is in you matlab
installation and not SPM.
