Dear all,
a new update of the VBM8 Toolbox is available, which can be received via the update function or can be downloaded at:
http://dbm.neuro.uni-jena.de/vbm8/vbm8_r404.zip
I have made some important changes since the last release 369. Thus, I would strongly recommend to process your data again for all ongoing studies.
You can also download the updated VBM8 manual, written by Florian Kurth and Eileen Luders:
http://dbm.neuro.uni-jena.de/vbm8/VBM8-Manual.pdf
Some general information about VBM can be found here, but the sites are not yet updated for VBM8:
http://dbm.neuro.uni-jena.de/vbm/
Major changes since last release 369:
(1) New skull-stripping approach based on a graph-cut algorithm (see http://sve.loni.ucla.edu/archive/ for some validation
results).
(2) Added batch for processing longitudinal data for multiple subjects.
(3) Added option for defining Dartel template.
(4) Implemented halfway registration based on a modified version of spm_realign.m in longitudinal batch mode.
(5) Removed some memory leaks in mex-files.
(6) Implemented new spm correction for non-stationarity in cg_spmT2x.m.
Best regards,
Christian
