Subject: [USABILITY] Event: Registration now open for Usability and User-Centred Design Day
Apologies if you receive this message multiple times.
Registration is now open for the Usability and User-Centred Design Day taking place here at the e-Science Institute on Tuesday 17th May.The event has been organised as part of the JISC INF11 project, UX2.0 which has been evaluating the usability and user experience of contemporary digital libraries.
The day is split into two parts: dissemination and general information on usability practices in the morning followed by a hands-on workshop, Prototyping for Beginners in the afternoon where you'll get the chance to try out one prototyping tool, Balsamiq.
Places for the afternoon practical session are very limited so we ask that only one person per-institution register for the full day to let as many people as possible attend. If the afternoon session becomes fully booked, there is still the opportunity to attend the morning session.
For more information and to register for the FULL DAY (including practical workshop) follow this link: http://www.nesc.ac.uk/esi/events/1196/
If the full day event books up or you only want to attend the morning, please register using this link: http://www.nesc.ac.uk/esi/events/1199/
You can also visit our Wiki for more detailed information on the programme and instructors: https://www.wiki.ed.ac.uk/display/UX2/UCD+Day
We look forward to seeing you there!
