Bristol Natural History Consortium – Summer Environmental Volunteering Opportunities
If you’re looking for unique work experience or opportunities in environmental education and public engagement (between 4 hours and 1 week), join us as a volunteer at one of our BNHC events this summer.
Festival of Nature – June 18/19 – over 150 volunteers help us deliver this large scale outdoor science festival. Rub shoulders with the UK’s wildlife experts and presenters and help us engage over 25,000 visitors.
BioBlitz – May 20/21 – we’ll be searching for over 1000 different species at Tyntesfield, a popular Bristol National Trust property (free entry for visitors). Volunteers with all levels of species identification are welcome.
Meet the Species – across the summer 2011 – our newest programme, funded by the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad – will be travelling to festivals, community events and unique locations. Volunteers are invited to join us “on the road”
