Like Bob, I tend not to know what to do with such prompts, Andrew,
although this is an intriguing one...
I was more interested in the Griffin short list, in which I have to
hope for Dionne Brand, whose work I know as unconventional &
politically acute.
Not sure about the international list, bit Adonis, I suspect, is the
most interesting.
I can think of a number of Canadian books from the past year that I
would have chosen as possibles. Oh well...
