    Dear Mr/Mrs,

We extend to you a cordial invitation to attend our forthcoming conference
and exhibition, called International Conference on Emergency Management
Technology - ICEMT 2011.

Date of the conference: May 23-25, 2011

Subtitle: Recovery of the red sludge disaster as experienced by the
Hungarian public administration, civil protection, science, media and
economy

Venue: Budapest - Veszprém - Szekszárd

Please note: the official language of the conference will be English.

Further information and registration: www.konferencia.okopoliszklaszter.hu

Objectives

In October 2010, Hungary had suffered a devastating industrial disaster of
the red sludge spill. The number and measures of unexpected environmental
disasters are rising worldwide. It is high time to create new approaches for
emergency management.

The aim of the conference is to raise awareness on the importance of new
technologies and public procedures for the reduction and management of
environmental risks during the Hungarian presidential term in the European
Union.

We especially recommend this conference to

members of the public administration, scientific and environmental experts,
emergency management officials, experts in the fields of health,
environmental protection and occupational safety, economic organizations of
the related fields (hazardous plants, insurance companies, teams of
environmental remediation and prevention), related scientific work shops.
