Hope colleagues will be pleased to see that a new Competences Framework for nurses caring for patients with sickle cell disease and thalassaemia accredited by the Royal College of Nursing was recently launched at their Congress in Liverpool this week. Those of us involved with developing them trust that you will find them useful and help disseminate them wherever they are needed!
