Dear All,
Sorry for any cross posting.
Here at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust we are currently reviewing the delivery of our “Information Skills” training programme(s) in line with the recently published RCN Competences. One of the areas we are looking at developing a session covering the area of “how to reference”, however this has thrown a few spanners in the works.
The main challenge we have is that we have students from various Universities and Colleges across the West Midlands - all using slightly different versions of the Harvard Referencing. However, within the trust there does not seem to be an agreed format to use.
Does your NHS trust have a standardised referencing system used by all staff, not on courses at associated colleges or universities? If so, which style do you use?
Further, do any of you use RefWorks, Endnote etc within your trust?
Thanks for your support.
I will feedback to the group a summary of comments received.
