Doctoral research students in the field of information science are invited to present their research at the inaugural Information Science Doctoral Colloquium (iDocQ) being held at Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University.
iDocQ is open to UK and international delegates in all stages of doctoral research (from early research through to final thesis).
As well as our UK partners we will have two well known international scholars at iDocQ to share their experiences with our research student delegates: Dr. Ross J. Todd, Rutgers University and Dr. Brian Detlor, McMaster University.
Delegates are required to produce a poster which they will use to discuss their research (10-15 mins including discussion) and also take part in a "One Minute Madness" session. On the day of the colloquium there will be a poster competition with a £50 Amazon voucher for the winner.
Sunday 19th June 2011, 10am - 4pm. Registration will open at 9.40 am.
Delegate fee £45 (including lunch and refreshments).
iDocQ was established collaboratively by four Scottish universities - Edinburgh Napier University, Robert Gordon University, University of Glasgow, and University of Strathclyde.
