Maarten just said in the WLCG Ops meeting that there will be an updated WN release soon, which should reduce the number of work arounds - hopefully to 0!
In the meantime, if you haven't upgraded, probably best not to (not that anyone would be upgrading on a Friday afternoon, I hope).
