As a dutch speaker, resident there on and off since the mid-70's, I may be able to help in either sourcing information or translating anything you have already. Do you have any specific queries or is it more a general information request? If you can give a flavour of what you are looking for I can avoid random trawling.
In this vein, it might be interesting to establish the Fietsersbond role in throwing out a contentious proposal to re-develop Groningen Town Centre a few years back. I believe it was the first time the Dutch referendum system for local democracy had been successfully used. There's a very good paper by Greg Ashworth who was (and may still be) a Professor of Planning at Groningen University (copy can be supplied).

Subject: Fietsersbond (Dutch Cyclists' Union)
Hi All, I'm writing a book chapter on cycling advocacy and activism - it's mainly focusing on the UK but I am bringing in examples from other countries. I'd really like to find out a bit more about the Fietsersbond, Dutch Cyclists Union, especially to get a few questions answered re: the creation of the organisation, funding/membership and relationships with local/national state and other organisations. If anyone can help, can suggest anyone who might be able to help, or can point me to any (English or French language) sources that I might have missed, I would very much appreciate it :)
