So far I've seen one RDA record - for Conversations with Catalogers in the 2st century which is on my pile of things to read ;) - it came via Library of Congress. Other than that, nothing that I have picked up. We don't yet have our LMS (Sirsi) set up to search the 040 field, but again, I'm waiting for further decisions before making any changes to it.

Hello,
Same here at Manchester Metropolitan University - using Talis/Catpita LMS we haven't seen any records. However similar to Esther, we see very few of our Bib records nowadays, as we have shelf ready material, and no longer have the number of cataloguing staff as previously.
It will be the training of what few staff that we now have that will be a concern, and cost implications.

Neither have we... although most of the bib data (esp. with ISBN) is
uploaded without human approval.

We have given our cataloguers an overview in RDA in order to identify these records and they are instructed to convert them to AACR2. It's been interesting to note however the number of error in these records, e.g. records coded as RDA but with abbreviations still being used in physical description, etc.

Jennie-Claire mentioned coming across RDA records in OCLC - the same applies to the RLUK Database, to LC's database (which many institutions access via Z39.50), and doubtless other sources too (Talis, for example?). So it's not simply a question of waiting to see what others do, and/or of implementing RDA locally.
