Hello,
Tim says:
I'm confused. The query should (and indeed does when I test) appear in its
own window. There is still the issue of window alignment (addressed in
v3), but the query does navigate. Could it be that the query window is
simply closed?
I'm not inclined to put the query as a strip with the matches. The query
window already navigates as it ought and the whole point of the match
window is to show a list of matches as they appear in the table. I think
anything else (under the current system) would be more confusing; the
strips would not match table rows and there would be a repeat of the query
in two windows.
The query and match windows must necessarily be able to show different
spectra, which is why in v2 (for technical reasons) we resort to using two
separate windows. In v3 this will differ as we use aligned panes more,
which will be much less fiddly.
