Dear All
It transpires that none of the emergency alarms in the cities public toilets
are actually connected to anything other than a red light outside the toilet
which flashes when the cord is pulled. The councils suggested solution to
this is to install a notice outside the asking the public to call 999 if
they see the red light flashing! Surely this is unacceptable.
According to the local council they are not aware of any council where the
alarm system is actually connected to anything. I find this hard to
believe.
Clearly this is a very worrying and unacceptable situation. People's
thoughts and suggestions would be very welcome...
Regards
Lynn
