I published a book about the Society:-

The published book concentrates upon the Scottish Society, especially as
it operated in Aberdeenshire amongst horse ploughmen.

There are resonances between the Scottish Society and East Anglian
tradition. Specifically, the Scottish Society celebrated the first horse
ploughman. In different periods/contexts this was given as Adam after
the fall, in the Land of Nod; Cain and Tubal Cain.
The ploughmen of East Anglia also celebrated Cain, as the first
ploughmen (folk song, the Painful Plough) and in their cultural milieu
was found further empathy with Cain (Tales of a Norfolk Poacher). There
are other folks songs that were sung in East Anglia that resonate with
the Scottish tradition.
One aspect of esoteric horsemanship operating in East Anglia is the Toad
Bone tradition. I am bringing out a book, the Toadmen, which has been
printed and sewn and currently and is currently at the bookbinders which
explores this tradition.
Another aspect relates to the tradition that "Sic Jubeo", the Latin for
"I command" was recorded as the Horseman's Word in East Anglia,
especially amongst gypsy scenes. I am currently typesetting a book for
publication that touches upon this, suggesting that it relates to the
French/Italian popular grimoire tradition, where horses are controlled
as familiars/demons.
I am certain there are other vectors of esoteric horsemanship too.
Which aspects particularly interested you?
With my best wishes
Ben
