Hi Lucy,

Great suggested reading. I particularly recommend the Schiff presentation
and a similar one by Judy Kuhagen which is the first listed on the JSC
(Joint Steering Committee) site:
http://www.rda-jsc.org/rdapresentations.html

On Chris Oliver's book, I was a little disappointed that there weren't more
examples but you are right, it's a good basic introduction, especially to
the theoretical foundations of RDA (which many speakers last week said was
a crucial part of RDA preparation and training).
