I'm sure there will be more on the specifics of training to deal with
this when the forum reaches the "training" thread, but for now I would
certainly want to emphasise that there are RDA records "out there" and
it's not simply a matter of being able to ignore them. Jennie-Claire
mentioned coming across RDA records in OCLC - the same applies to the
RLUK Database, to LC's database (which many institutions access via
Z39.50), and doubtless other sources too (Talis, for example?). So it's
not simply a question of waiting to see what others do, and/or of
implementing RDA locally.
You may already have such records in your database (and how many on this
forum have checked, I'm wondering).
