Yes, it's the buy-one-get-one free offer that we would like to take advantage of. We subscribed during the free trial period but this coincided with a particularly busy time for us so we hardly had any time to look at it in any great detail.

In response to Nicky & Helen on the RDA Toolkit, we have a subscription at
Cambridge. The question of the Toolkit came up during the Exec Briefing and
I pointed out then that there is a buy-one-get-one-free kind of deal at the
moment - based on an assumption that you will need to access the Toolkit
more during the initial familiarisation/training period than when your
institution is settled into using RDA. So you pay for the level of
concurrent users you will normally need and your subscription gives you
twice as many for the initial year. We benefited from this when we
subscribed and I know that offer has been extended for next year's
subscription too. I thought it was worth mentioning as lots of people will
be thinking about it.

Beacher Wiggins also mentioned at the Briefing that it is worth speaking to
Troy Linker at ALA Publishing and discussing your institution's needs as
they are trying to be accommodating to specific circumstances. Beacher said
this is what LC will be doing!
