      smurf: If darks are science then we should not return darks as well
      
      The darks smfArray was returned even if the darks had been morphed
      into science data. This confused smf_choose_darks since the darks
      were the exact same sequence as the science.

      Fixes a bug which prevents a ".*" template field matching a null string
      if the null string occurs before a closing parenthesis at the end of the
