Yo!
Today I put my durty hands to the VOMS reconfiguration at our SE
and found out that vomsdir contents aren't changed at all. After
some investigations I had found that YAIM chokes on the config_vomsdir
at the redirection for the while cycle:
while read ...; do
..
done < "$(split_quoted_variable $voms_ca_dn)"
split_quoted_variable is a function that outputs the list of lines
that are supposed to be read from the 'read ...' construct, so "<"
isn't supposed to work at all, bash has "<<<" for this.
Judging by the
http://glitesoft.cern.ch/EGEE/gLite/R3.2/glite-CREAM/sl5/x86_64/RPMS.updates/
4.0.14-1 is the latest YAIM core for the gLite 3.2.
As I am not able to submit bugs to the jra1mdw Savannah tracker,
http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?80618
I am posting this message here.
A couple of questions:
- may be this is a known bug?
- if not, this issue should hit almost everyone or I seem to
misunderstand the basic redirection concepts. Anyone?
- may be I am bit behind the current fashion and Savannah
isn't supposed to track such bugs anymore? If yes, where
should people post their bug reports and patches?
My variant of the patch that fixes this problem for me is attached.
Thanks for your time. Peace ;))
