You want to use the con_ image for condition1-condition2. The reason
for this is that this represents the magnitude of the signal change
between the condition for each subject and is what you used, or
should've used in your second level analyses. The spmT represents the
significance of the magnitude, which is problematic for two reasons:
(1) it is not normally distributed; and (2) it measures something
different from the magnitude of the BOLD response -- specifically it
relies both on the magnitude and the noise in the data.
