We are seeking to appoint a senior lecturer in medical statistics at King's College London.
This post has been established to provide strategic leadership to enhance the provision of statistical advice, training and research in the Division of Health and Social Care and the NIHR Research Design Service. This will be provided in conjunction with other statisticians within the division, currently 1 Reader and 3 Lecturers, led by Professor Janet Peacock.
The postholder will have responsibility for:
i. Providing strategic management for the delivery of statistical consultancy for the NIHR Research Design Service London and acting as a consultant alongside other statisticians
ii. Methodological research in relation to clinical trial design
iii. Teaching medical statistics, principally to non-statisticians
