Hi Simon,
How are you out there.... across the ether?
Here, on the other side of the water, I've been working like
crazy....life has been a whirlwind. I think I told you that I took
over Florian Cramer's place as the Course Director of the Masters
programme at the Piet Zwart Institute: Networked Media. This means
all PhD plans were temporarily put on hold to learn the ropes of
running an educational org. It's been intense but also quite exciting.
I saw your final call for submissions of artworks and was wondering
what kind of budget frame are you working within? For example, often
Rhizome calls for commissions have a max budget of 1,000 dollars or
3,000 dollars. I want to make sure I'm not way out of line with my
plan.
I hope you are doing well.... and btw: nice to see you as a moderator
on Empyre too! I hope one day, time will afford a return to list
culture; at the moment, I'm an active lurker ;-)
best!
Renee Turner
