Dear All,
Just thought I would ask how other OHA's manage people with COPD in the workplace.
As a case study to consider what if they are moderate in condition( ie can walk and talk and use stairs but vitalograph show VC and FVC at around 80%), not exposed to COSHH and office based and are having increase absence due to infections (plus 10days per year and 4-5 absences as a guide) what would you do?
Is equality act saying as they have a chronic condition they are covered or not..... if its not having a 'substantial affect' on their life but it is chronic?
Just nice to see if there are any new ideas out there.
