A Representation of Time: words and images inspired by the legacy of our coalfields.
This event is being held in association with The Drift, a new exhibition featuring the work of social documentary photographer Ian Beesley and writer/broadcaster Ian Mcmillan.
This year's annual symposium explores the relationship between photography and literature. Through contributions from a panel of distinguished speakers, which include Ian Beesley, Ian McMillan, David Peace, Keith Pattison, John Davies, Jean Spence and Carol Stephenson. The event will show the enduring influence that the Northern coalfield continues to have on creative practitioners today. Tickets are £25.00 (including refreshments and tour of the exhibition). Concessions £15.00 (students and non-waged)* Please note all students need to hold and provide a valid NUS card on collection of tickets.
