A colleague is cataloguing historic mining machinery collected by a museum on a Queensland gold field. In the collection are several items of tramway rolling stock, including side-tipping carts of the kind used in cyanide plants. These have their undercarriage marked "Stockton M Co" or "Stockton M C". They would have been used at some time in the period 1880s - 1930s. Can anyone shed any light on the likely manufacturer?
