Learn to Share to Learn: A joint SWRLS / JISC RSC SW Conference on OER (Open
Educational Resources) will be held on 23rd March, at Taunton Rugby Club.
Places still available
At a time of financial belt-tightening, UKOER projects are attracting
serious money from HEFCE and JISC; whilst the US government are investing US
$2 billion in a post-secondary OER program. Can you afford to ignore free,
high quality resources available without the hassle of licences,
authentication and copyright?
The potential for OER to save money and revolutionise the way educational
resources are delivered is immense. This event brings together all aspects
of the sector with some innovative ideas and practical projects.
In the morning you will hear from speakers, about how OER can be used across
the sector. In the afternoon, delegates will participate in practical
workshops to learn how to take advantage of OER.
